Zaxxoids is an original realtime puzzle game. The player rearranges the playing field to direct pieces as they fall, grouping pieces of similar colors to eliminate them and advance to the next level. Zaxxoids combines fast-paced action with clever puzzles to provide an addictive and enjoyable gaming experience. The idea is deceptively simple: deflect balls as they roll down configurable paths in order to line them up by color - three or more in a row and they are eliminated. Use this reaction to destroy all of the colored "orbs" (zaxxoids) on the playing field in order to advance to the next level. When you combine the objective of destroying zaxxoids with the diverse and increasingly complex scrolling playing fields, time bombs, impenetrable balls, and other "twists" that permeate Zaxxoids, the result is a game that is both unique and familiar. There are over 120 levels in Zaxxoids, each with its own challenge and allure. Additional Level Packs (groups of similarly-themed levels) are available for Zaxxoids. Furthermore, a click-and-drag WYSIWYG Level Editor is included with the game to allow you to create and share Zaxxoids levels with others over the Internet. Zaxxoids runs at 1024 x 768 resolution in True Color mode (16.7 million colors) with real-time antialiasing (for smoother graphics), shadow effects, and particle system explosions.
