SecureIt allows you to create and edit highly secure text messages or sensitive documents. SecureIt will open Richtext (rtf), plain text (txt) and Secure Text Messages (stm) files. STM files are highly compressed documents that can be password protected using an optional 256 bit Rijndael (AES) encryption cipher. Files saved using this encryption format have never been cracked! ?Secure Text Messages can also be turned into password protected self-decrypting executables using our exclusive DocLock system! SecureIt does not use the windows richedit dll file to apply formatting to your documents. Unlike WordPad that is supplied with windows, SecureIt has the ability to insert and display images in your documents. SecureIt can send the current document straight to your mapi compliant email client - ready to send to your intended recipient or save the secure document to disk to protect it from prying eyes. Basic formatting options are available in the user interface through menu options, shortcut keys and toolbars. The standard shortcut keys are all there to apply formatting to your secure documents inside SecureIt. Spell checking, Cut, Copy, Paste, Find and Replace, text highlighting, paragraph background colors and more are all available to you. In just a few moments, you can create an encrypted, compressed email attachment with your sensitive information. Ideal for sending secure messages by email or making secure backups of your private information. Let s face it, in the real world many people simply aren t willing to buy and install a specific encryption package just to be able to read a couple of confidential messages you send them. With SecureIt they don t have to, because you can send them self-decrypting DocLock files that "unpack" themselves.
